How we implement our
commitment to quality

Our Principles

Critical to achieving quality services in any healthcare company are the core values of its owners and management. Our core principals are:

  • To always provide the latest, evidence-based clinical services to our patients;
  • To provide knowledge and assistance to the families of our patients as well as our patients;
  • To employ and develop staff who are competent, compassionate, respectful and empathetic to our patients and who are equally responsive to the families of our patients and to each other;
  • To constantly evaluate and adjust our programs to meet the changing needs of our patients;
  • To disseminate information about our services and pursue research that can enable us to provide improved services to our patients and advance the field
Staff Selection and Training

Our nursing and therapeutic staff are all individually selected based on criteria developed over 30 years’ experience in the healthcare industry. We evaluate not only specific skills, but judgement and dedication to achieving the quality of services that we require. We seek staff who want to be the very best in their field and show them how much of a difference in the lives of our patients they can make when they apply the most current techniques and develop their own skills. Background checks, DMV checks, reference checks and physical exams are conducted on all staff.

All of our professional staff are encouraged to participate in a variety of continuing education programs specific to their fields. For our home care staff, our in-house training is continuous with specific emphasis on the care of seniors and patients with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of cognitive and memory impairment.

Finally, we stress to all our staff the importance of patience. Many of our patients are seniors who may not be able to do things as fast as they used to, but they are capable of many things if we create for them the proper therapeutic environment and are patient with them.
Family Involvement

Whenever possible, we seek the active participation of the family of our patients in every phase of the planning, evaluation and adjustment of the services we provide. A line of communication is established for the family to speak with managers and owners of the Agency to ask questions, express concerns or simply to make suggestions. We form a treatment team with the single goal of providing quality, effective services to our patients and achieving results as quickly as possible.

Please expect also to hear from us after our services have concluded so that we can know of their long-term outcome and have your insight as we continually work to improve our services
